You are going to be a dad? Congratulations!
Maybe you are not even sure how you feel about this new situation. That’s okay! You are not alone. You may be experiencing the same or similar emotions as the new mom.
Most pregnant girls and women come to the Birthright office without the emotional or physical support of the birth father. When questioned, the new mom may hold out hope for the birth father’s support. She may want him there, but is not sure where he stands. She feels that he has the right to help make decisions regarding his and her baby, but does not want to pressure him into a commitment.
The responsibility and the commitment to the unborn child is real, and it is yours. What will your response be?
