The Birthright of Columbia Board of Directors announces the hiring of Mrs. Terry Hodaly as Birthright of Columbia Executive Director. She will succeed Hank Chardos, the 1980 founder, with his wife, Sally Chardos, of this chapter of Birthright International. Hank will retire effective March 31, 2021.
Terry is a lifelong resident of Columbia, married to Tawfiq, and blessed with a daughter and two sons. Terry has served in a variety of roles at Cardinal Newman School over the last ten years, most recently as Director of Development. Prior to that, she served as Business Manager for Interfaith Community Services of Columbia.
Terry and Tawfiq are parishioners of St Joseph’s Catholic Church, a church Terry’s grandparents helped found. Terry is a talented and dedicated individual, open and honest about her desire to serve expectant mothers and protect the unborn. We are excited for her to continue and build upon the outstanding work of Hank and Sally Chardos.
